AVI and DIVX on my pda

I followed the tutorial for ripping a DVD and creating a file to play on a pda. But my pda will not play avi files. What can I use to play this type of file?

http://www.aximsite.com/articles/link.php?id=215

I already use Pocket Player. Is there a codec I can install? I'd hate to have to install another application just to use one file type.

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried TCPMP?

Didn't know about TCPMP when I posted this. I checked it out and it is pretty cool. Still, I've never liked having multiple programs for similar purposes, where one program is good for this but not that, and the other program is great for that but not so good for this. That's why I was hoping to find a codec for WMP or Pocket Player.

Honestly? PocketPlayer's a better audio player than video one - it's always been choppy with videos, at least for me, which worked better with TCPMP or CorePlayer.

Couldn't agree more.
