Reinstalling WMP for the Ax ????

Is there a way to do this without the hard reset? I was one of the dumb people that went to MS and downloaded all "updates" and installed them, then found out the MS version is actually 8.0 when the Dell version is 8.5 ... i want to get it back without the need of hard reset... anyway?

can i download 8.5 from anywhere?

you cant "reinstall a rom upgrade" however a hard reset will do the same thing. Yes, it does delete everything (except stuff on CF and SD cards) so back your stuff up before hard resetting

A ROM update also performs a hard-reset, so you're looking at a hard-reset either way you go.
