I use the Sony ST-77's for my Ax and my IPod. Good sound and not too bulky. You can find them at the sony stores or on-line, google search for them... use to be around $60 on-line. Hope that helps.

I checked pricegrabber. B&H has the Sony SRS-T55 Personal Travel Speakers for $39.99.
I am not at all familiar with the audio side of things, am a born and bred bookworm :D. How do these speakers work? Do you plug in where the headphone goes?

Has anybody tried the Creative TravelSound speakers that Phoenix mentioned? I'm curious to know if they sound good and how compact they are. The website doesn't provide dimensions or weight.

The model number of the Panasonic speakers is RPSPT70 and they are $29.99 at Circuit City. The only downside to these speakers is they don't have their own volume control. You have to use the speaker volume on the Axim to control them. I was using them in a room recently that was all stucco with no carpeting and had the volume on the Axim turned all the way down and the sound was way loud due to the acustics.

MICROBOSS MP3 Speaker
I found these, MICROBOSS MP3 Speaker, I've been trying to find more info on availability etc. Maybe someone is familiar with them and can give some input.
This is the web page:

Try your local electronic store and toy with the speakers used for personal cd players. If you dont have luck w/those, then check out some speakers meant for desktop pc's. If you look in the right place you could find a decent pair for $20 or less.
