What codec should I encode my videos for an Axim in? I have Windows Media Encoder for Windows Media, TMPGEnc for MPEG, and VirtualDub for Divx and Xvid. PocketMVP will support Divx 5, Xvid, and MPEG, right? And will WMP for PPC support WMP9 video? Thanks.

divx if you want the best video/sound quality and probly the smallest file size out of all codecs out there. Unless there is another codec you can use to get a DVD down to ~160MB

Divx for sure! Mepg needs more memory, Xvid was not totally supported by PocketMVP, and WMP will not play as good as Divx. Also, WMP9 is not supported by Pocket WMP yet, although Axim has the lastest version of Pocket WMP(3.5). So i am sure it is easy for you to choice which codec you will want. ;)

Yes, PocketMVP will paly any movie encoded with Divx 4.12 and up. I am currently using Divx5.02 to encode movies and they play very well on Axim. Just remember to get the lastest version of PocketMVP.
