Pocket MVP, PPC2003 & divX 5.1
I've spent some time on this one so I thought this might be helpful :
Pocket MVP can't read the divX encoded with divX5.1 on a PPC2003 device (ipaq 2215). But it works beautifully with divX5.1.1

That's not quite true. I've encoded DIVX AVI's using the 5.1 codec and have got them running on Pocket MVP (though the sound is a little choppy).
If you haven't already, check out www.bigdsvideo.com for some great guides and links to free utilities! I just purchased a 2GB microdrive and I'm going to try some movies I recently encoded this weekend on my 2215 with Pocket MVP (encoded using the 5.1.1 codec). Wish me luck!

What I can say is that I tried to encode the exact same movie with the same video & audio settings and :
-the video never played on my 2215 when I used 5.1 to encode the movie (and I spent quite some time to figure this out) -it played nicely when encoded with 5.1.1
