.mov fomat

Hello,

Is it possible to play .mov files on a PPC? I've been looking but I haven't found anything except .mpg. I'd like to be able to put one of the films from www.bmwfilms.com on my h5550 as eye candy, but I don't know if it will even play or not.

If it can't be done, can anyone recommend a good converter?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Do you have the PRO quicktime player? If so you can export the file as an AVI then convert that to WMV or Divx.

I record TV shows using my Clie video recorder then use Quicktime Pro to export to AVI and then finally use Windows Movie Maker to convert to WMV. I have these BMW films movies in WMV format after downloading them, but I cannot remember where I found them. I'll look and see if I can finf the link.

Pockect Quickview (Freeware) states it can play Quicktime .mov files. It's primarily a picture viewer. I haven't tried to play any .mov files with it. I don't use quicktime much. It has a weird GUI but seems to have a ton of features. the link is here:
