How do you listen to a WMA file?

I've copied a wma file (an audiobook) and tried to play it, but the windows media player 9 popped an error message saying i need some codec to play the file.
what does it mean, and how do i get that codec?

I am assuming that you are trying to play the WMA file on your PPC. If you are, it sounds like the audiobook was created using WM 9 and it wasn't setup to play in WM 8. Pocket PC 2002 has WM 8 and won't play WM 9 WMA files. If you are running WM2003 you should not have any problems.

There is a great piece of software from PocketMind called PocketMusic that is free and has a pay-version that is a little better. Great thing is that the free version isn't a demo, its a full version but a bit downgraded from the pay version.

It has an equalizer, great setup, skins support.

The pay version even has WinAmp skins support. Talk about sweet!

I like it, its very easy to use.
