Here's an idea... I have a pretty good speaker system set up and I've managed to play MP3s over a network on my Axim. However, I don't want to sit next to the axim the whole time while I'm playing music. Are there any media players that let me contol the axim using an old TV remote? How about apps that map an IR pulse to a hardware button?

That remote thing is a good idea. I don't think it would be that hard to make a program that emulates hardware buttons through ir.
