BetaPlayer with ASF plugin
I've installed BetaPlayer .092 on my hx4700 in the ipaq file store. It works great for DivX encoded video.
I downloaded the ASF pluging (also .092) and installed it to the file store as well. However, if I try to open a WMV file I get an "Unknown file format" error. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Timothy

go to options>settings>theres a "select page" text, click it and choose file association and check whatever file types you want betaplayer to play for you. PS betaplayer 0.93a is now out.

Hi, When you install the ASF plugin, does it automitically enable playing of wmv. files from Betaplayer? Do you then see wmv on the file checklist in "select page".?? Thanks

The problem was solved by one of the moderators letting me know that the asf plugin only works with the most recent "unstable" version of Beta Player. I uninstalled the old one, reinstalled the new one and the asf plugin made wmv show up in teh file select check list.

I think carryDVD (www.carryDVD.com) will make wmv formats and you won't need betaplayer...
