Optimizing playback on hx4700 + Seagate ST-1 Microdrive

I'm using betaplayer 0.93a unstable, running on a hx4700 and a Seagate ST-1 Microdrive. Are there any settings that I can change to optimise playback? I do notice very slight jerky motions on some videos that I compressed using Pocket DVD Studio 1.2.6 at 24fps.

Anyway, are there any general tips to optimise playback apart from increasing the cache and turning on microdrive mode?

In one of the settings check "microdrive mode" and increase the buffer size

i run dvd compressed movies on my microdrive and 4700 , works fine.. i have seen the
jerky video.. easy fix... clck the options in betaplayer , its next to the play button, choose "speed" set it at 110% ....... if your betaplayer dosnt have the 110 option..its an old version and you need to upgrade it with latest. 110 they run fine.
