Can you tell me where else i can get betaplayer? Im itching to play some movies on my new Hx4700!

HI guys, this is my first post. I just bought the hx4700 (I'm relatively new to the palm top scene) I have downloaded betaplayer Unstable .094 and installed on my PPC, but it will not run any of the movies I have stored on the SD card (Snatch, Strange brew and Swordfish). Is there anything I have to do other than download to my device?

What format are the movies?

Have you associated the file types in Betaplayer (on the settings menu)?

Rob...not yet (wsasn't aware I had to) I am playing windows media mpeg files (I thgink) as downloaded from dvd to ppc.

I think I figured out what I am doing wrong. The file type I am trying to play is a wmv file and betaplayer does not seem to support thise file type. any suggestions?

download and install the asf plugin too. this way you can play smaller as VGA wmv files in full screen too. http://plugins.topcat.hu or http://picard.exceed.hu/betaplayer

It would be nice if you could just install a codec pack instead of dealing with all this extra software. Is this possible?
