win media player wont open!

not that i use it very often,cuz i dont have any mp3s loaded yet...but i went to open wmp just for the heck of it...and when i click on the icon..it does nothing...any takers on what happened..it did this a month or so ago but i just left it alone...now i want to know...the rest of the story...as far as i know i never deleted anything,never loaded anything into it:rolling:

Mine did this also. I went to MS website and downloaded the updated version and installed it per the instructions. Now it works fine. Don't know what the problem was.

mine said the skin was gone and reload wmp..i tried a few times,got sick of it...so dloaded winamp...30 seconds and it was done..now if i just had an sd card to put mp3 on....and if i knew how to do it...i could jam at work all day!!

I ran into this same error after installing the A03 ROM update.

MediaPlayer will not reinstall. I get a not for this version error.

wow..i did the a03 update too. so i just said to heck with it and went with winamp,but now think i might go with pocketmusic
