My WMP 10 (iPAQ 4700) has been working fine every since I upgraded the ROM a few months ago. Just lately though WMP will not read my SD card. When I try to select "My Music", "My Videos", "My Tv", etc, I get this error message: "An unexpected error occurred."
Anyone have this problem? What should I do?

I know it's not the SD card or the files on the SD card b/c my ppc WinAmp is working fine and reading the SD card. I've tried soft reset of course, and even reinstalled the ROM upgrade and done a hard reset! But alas nothing has worked. What the heck is going on?!

To be honest, no. I myself don't have this issue. But a couple of things that I will note for you too that makes my case just a tiny bit different from yours.

1 - I avoid WMP whenever possible. Instead, I use BetaPlayer (still haven't upgraded to TCMP) and GSPlayer for my video and music needs. Besides, those two applications alone offer more features and options than WMP10 for PPC came with when they ported it.

2 - I have an ipaq hx2755, which both were made by HP around the same time frame, however there is enoguh hardware differences to make you think twice.

i agree....however, when i do use wmp, i just select the file using file explorer.
