Cool Would like to play some mp3's ?

Hi

I just received my Axim 5 does anyone know a web site where I can get some mp3's to play on my Ax? preferably for free?

Or encode your own! It can also play WMA. Or there is also an OGG player.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

i find ripping my CDs with windows media player to WMA format is quite useful, and they play nicely on the axim

- I hope you got a decent storage card because the axim cant hold more then maybe 3-7 songs at most

Holux 236 Bluetooth GPS

I use OGG format... I had a 3rd party do some blind hearing tests and we both confirm that OGG at 64kb/s was better than MP3 at 96kb/s or 128kb/s.. Probably doesn't apply for ALL songs.. But it's my format of choice for PPC.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

OGG is an excelent format for some songs, and WMA's variable bitrate is also excelent for others. Both have relatively small file sizes so either will be good on the axim.

I am eager to use OGG but the OGG codec on my computer is having some serious issues, I have been too lazy to reinstall it, but I am going to and give it a try, it seems very promising

Just one question, what programs on the axim can play them?
