Is there a way I can make my rx3115 a voice activated recorder, as well as is there a way to use the headphones jack as an external mic jack? I was jsut wonderign thanks!!

Sure but you need software that you must buy. Vito Voice To Go, or Microsoft Voice Command. You can buy these from Pocketgear!

as far as making the headphone jack an external mic jack, i don't think its possible, because it was wired for output, not input, but i could always be wrong

So with these programs, I can leave my Ipaq hooked up to a microphone and it will activate and record upon detecting any sound, these sound more like voice command software products like I give it a command and it will record I need something that makes the recorder start playing when it detects any sound and stops recording when no sound is detected then begin recording again. Thanks

i haven't heard of anything like that. hope you can program, because you may have to write it yourself.

also, there are no external mic's for an ipaq that i am aware of, so you may be stuck with the internal one.

if you want voice recording you don't want either voice command, or voice to go. They are for voice command.

You might, however, want resco audio recorder. Which will turn your pda into a voice activated dictaphone
