i recently purchased dvd to ppc but there is no audio on playback of converted files.
has anyone else had the same problem?

the makayama website support says to set the audio dub to "AC2" but the only audio dub setting available in the software is "english AC3 ch6" which results in no audio in the converted file.

i have tried changing the other audio settings (dolby surround, silence detection) as suggested by the makayama website but no luck.

can anyone tell me what the problem is? am i missing some vital audio codecs? (there is a suggestion in their support about downloading the k-lite audio codec package. would this be advisable?)

i have e-mailed makayama support about it but i am still waiting for a reply. in the meantime maybe someone here could help me out.

it's fairly disappointing that after shelling out over 30 euro for commercial software it doesn't seem to work properly but i'm hoping someone here will be able to sort the problem out.
