Question Please Help Me!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rather dramatic topic, but the question is really important (to me anyway).

Basically I am, like many others, only planning to get an Ax. I need it for 4 main reasons:

a. Watch DiVX movies in PocketMVP (most important one)
b. Pocket Everquest, or as I prefer to call it, ECTG(EverCrack To Go)
c. NES (and hopefully SNES) emulators, also pbbly gameboy
d. WiFi web surfing

My budget right now will allow me to save up for a basic in about a month (high school junior workin' part time for $8 an hour here). I was wondering if I really needed the power of the advanced to do these at normal FPS. Alternatively I could bust my @$$ out of my cell phone (go down to the $50 plan :rolling: ). Another option I did my homework on was the option of getting basic and oc'ing it to 400.

Any advice would be great.

P.S. any references between the statement below and any Star wars character, not excluding Yoda, any old people, or anybody else greedy enough to further trouble an already-reduced-to-buying-clothes-at-old-navy high school student, or anyone smoked out or whatever are entirely coincidenshal (did i spell that right lol) and are meant to offer a couple laughs and not to get me sued.

Hey, I am an old fart that shops at Old Navy, (I know that was really bad, and can picture AximPhreak Shredding all of his school clothes Now)!! (( Am I bad or what))?? I have the 400 Mhz model. Suggest you check out the site, I know that you are able to get somewhat of a discount if you are a college student, I thought there was also a link for purchasing in you are in High School or forgot what the designator is. Check it out on the Axim site though, believe it was something to do with k-12 for some type of discount. This old Fart is a full time college student, Majoring in Computer Science, and again shops at Old Navy Also, along with Marshall Fields, and Nieman Marcus. :D

Heck if you want an emulator, why would you not get the faster processor?

spend the extra dough. I got a 300 and wish I had gotten the 400. the extra speed and memory would be nice for some larger games.

Thx a lot for the input everybody. I have decided that T-Mobile will have to just half their profits off my already-overtaxed high school selph (spelled with ph) and that I will be dosing ECTG (see first post) off 400 MHz of raw processor power =)... Although more opinions would be great, so any (more) input would be great.
