Ipaq 1950 will not connect to streams
Hi all
I'm trying to setup video streaming over my lan for my Ipaq 1950. I have the stream running just fine, but the Ipaq doesnt seem to be able to connect to it. I've followed all the guides that are on these forums, but to no avail. Any other pc on my lan can connect to the stream just fine, but the Ipaq, which is connected via wifi cannot connect.

The PC hosting the stream has a local IP of 192.168.0.5, and a local machine name of 'hyperion'

I've tried the following urls in WMP10 on the ppc:
http://192.168.0.5:8080/
http://192.168.0.5:8080
http://HYPERION:8080/
http://HYPERION:8080
http://hyperion:8080/
http://hyperion:8080

None of these have worked. WMP10 gives the following error:
Cannot find the file. The file might have been moved, renamed, or deleted.... etc etc..

The PPC DOES have network connectivity, and DOES have unrestricted access to 192.168.0.5.

I've tried opening the stream in the ppc media player 'PocketTV' - and I get this error:
Cannot open "http://192.168.0.5:8080/": http error reply (error-210)

Does anyone have any idea why I cant open my stream? I've tried opening other streams in WMP10 on the ppc (radio stations and such) and none of them seem to open. It's really starting to annoy me now... I hope somebody has a solution!

Thanks,
Terry
