Newbie Question
I was just wondering but does anyone know about how many mp3. average songs is the axim about to carry without any extra cards (smartmedia)

I have the Axim 400mhz.. The songs are about 4000kb each in mp3 format.. Is there another way of compressing them without affecting the quality of it?

WMA is supported on an Axim out of the box. Roughly half the size of MP3 for very similar and sometimes better quality. Your other option would be OGG, but it requires aditional software on your Axim.
