Installed Winampaq from the Aximsite downloads yesterday. Works but---- no matter what I set the equalizer settings to, either manually or through one of the presets, the sound is the same. I can't hear any difference on bass, treble, etc.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere??

Also, the sound gets rather distorted as the volume goes up, I am using decent headphones.

I'm a newbie at ripping CD's to MP3 but I believe the MP3 was created at 192kbps.

well you have to turn it on first.
