oh no i agree with you.. java's very high level and has a ton of classes that you can work with.. however it just seems that there's been alot of headway when it comes to developing on ppc via visual studio .net. I really hardly know java right now, all I know is what I learned in my last year of university.

speaking of java, is there a way to view java programs on our axims? Preferably a free or cheap way?

o by the way, just read through the whole topic now and had to mention there is a developers section to aximsite. You probably know that by now but in case you didn't i decided to post it.

I'm jsut getting started on the MP3 thing (yea, I'm a little behind the 8ball here), and my WiMP was playing just dandy thru the songs when it just decided to stop..huh? tried agian and got same result. go figger.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm gonna see if there is a free trial of GS player and try it out.

As for getting a program off the screen, I just click on the X to minimize it and then use Handy Switcher to close when I'm done.
