I would be grateful for anyone's help, direction, comments in trying to get the Real Player working on my Axim!!
I am trying to listen to audio files from the IE on my v30h but each time I click on the audio file, it asks me "Download 'real_play.php' to the 'My Documents' folder in Main Memory? - wtih the 'open file after download' checkbox grayed out. I click 'yes'. After download, I click 'play audio' again . . . it just keeps repeating the same old download question 'Download 'real_play.php' to the . . . ". What should I do to get the real player working on my Axim?
i think maybe the file formate is not adaptible, you can convert the source files to *.rm file. When i started to operate my Axim, i also came across some problems, then i use a software called Xilisoft audio Maker, then i can hear these pop songs on my Axim. perhasp you may have a try. Good luck.
BTW, I'm moving this thread to Multimedia...this really has nothing to do with Creative products.
That thread is a bit old. RealPlayer on Windows Mobile was updated earlier this year. Try the latest version. It should be able to open all RealMedia files.
Lokking through the Real Player answer files it looks like it still only supports the Pocket PC 2002 OS. Does Real Player work on your X50v alantdc? I see you have Coreplayer listed as your pmp so I doubt if you use Real Player mobile very often but did it work when you tried it?

Nevermind alan. A little more serching found the X50 and X51v listed on there supported mobile devices page. Too bad it took them so long to get on the bandwagon.

It's a shame that their installer is so rubbish - I simply cannot get the damn thing to install, I keep getting the error telling em to install Activesync 3.2 or later. I have the latest version of ActiveSync on and I'm looking at a connected PPC but I keep getting the error.
So, I check on the RealMedia website and they say to re-install Outlook, yeah right. My outlook is working fine with no issues as is ActiveSync.
Can anyone recommend any good software that will allow me to play music and videos (not just WMV) on my Windows Mobile 5 device.
