Yes i did a soft reset. I've tryed with headphones without headphones. I tried using "system volume" and i tried enableing the equilizer.
Audio settings are set to stero and wave output
the system volume is on max and TCPMP vol is on max and NOT muted. I tried unistalling reset intalling reset and still no sound. like i said before the file plays fine in windows media player.
can anyone please help?
downloaded tcpmp cab installed. downloaded codecs installed.
cannot find anything in tcpmp that will let me watch subtitles.
how do I get this program to show subtitles?
I have movie and .srt
both say example transformers.mp4 transformers.srt
located in the same place in the storage card
My hearing is wonky with this head cold and would like to be able to read the movie when I cannot make out the words being said.
IMPORTANT! - In order to make use of the full capabilities of this codec pack, you will need to install the altered version of TCPMP that I came across, it is included in the Installers above, along with it's attendant files, you can download it seperately Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?amugxj04gcm
ALSO - Please be sure to uninstall all previous versions of this codec pack, AND your current install of TCPMP.

Apologies, I accidentally included an obsolete version of FFMPEG in the initial release of my latest codec pack, that oversight has been rectified, and all links have been adjusted accordingly.
I've read through all the posts and am vague on the X30 wm2003SE applications for this program. My sister is hooked on foreign television shows and has an Axim X30. The program for my x51v is fine. It even plays .SRT subtitles albeit the bottom-most subtitles get chopped off sometimes. So which version of TCPMP and your codec-packs would generate subtitles for her X30???
EDIT:
I did find a way to use this with an X30 :)
After replacing the interface.plg and common.dl with the new ones open up your TCPMP. Check in options that there is a subtitle option there. If it is there GOOD :)
Then tap Video and choose GDI.
Voila. Your .SRT's will be shown along with the video. Thanks to those guys at XDA :D

Thanks Barrow, that means a lot... On another note... I think I've solved the non appearing shortcut issue... I am using the LennySH WM6.1 A07 Beta 3 ROM, and I have tried deleting all shortcuts, and registry entries after uninstallation, and cold installing with both the .CAB and .EXE installers, and I have gotten a program shotcut in the start menu each time. It may be an issue with whichever ROM you are running... So all I can say is, please bear with it, and if you do not end up with a shortcut after installation, feel free to create one, the program should still work just fine.

I am currently experimenting with a series of plugins with which I can see .on2 (when they are given a ".flv" file extension) files, and hear their audio... but the frame rate is CH..OP..PY, I am getting framerates of 1 frame every 5 seconds at best. If anyone out there has a better, smoother codec, or the beginnings of one... please don't leave us hanging!
