ALL Known Codecs for TCPMP!
I have been out surfing the web for a while, and I think I got them all... These are all of the known codecs for the free media player TCPMP: (UPDATE: (07/07/09) I have released an updated codec pack installer, now known as "TCPMP & Master Codec Pack 4 (WM6 Ultimate Edition)" see below:
IMPORTANT! - In order to make use of the full capabilities of this codec pack, you will need to install the altered version of TCPMP that I came across, it is included in the Installers above, along with it's attendant files, you can download it seperately Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?amugxj04gcm
ALSO - Please be sure to uninstall all previous versions of this codec pack, AND your current install of TCPMP.
(UPDATE: Here is the Installer for TCPMP (Version 0.72RC1), Just to make things easier: TCPMP.exe)
(NOTE: In addition, I have been searching for TCPMP 0.81, but all versions I have found so far have been either incomplete, or unstable, once a fully working version has been located, I will make it available here.)

I just checked, I have both the Musepack and Matroska codecs in the ZIP - they're bundled with another set of codecs in one of the installers. Would you mind telling me which ones you think I missed, so that I can include them in an updated release?

Just to make things a little easier...
I recently came across a program for creating executables and CABs, and so I've created a PC based installer to load all of the codecs from the earlier post's ZIP file simultaneously to your PPC. I've also created a CAB file for advanced users, or those who view this site on a mobile device, and want to install the codecs immediately.
(NOTE: In order to prevent registry issues, please uninstall all codecs for your edition of TCPMP beforehand, so that only the program itself is listed in your Installed Programs directory, then install my CAB, or run the installer from your PC via ActiveSync.)
This file was tested successfully on an Axim X51v with the WM5.0 OS and TCPMP version 0.72RC1, but it should theoretically work on any Pocket PC OS 2002, 2003, 2003SE, WM5, WM6, and for any release of TCPMP from version 0.66 forward...
Enjoy!:approve:

Not exactly... These are .plg or plugin files that allow TCPMP to decode the file types the plugins are intelded for. To my knowledge they do not function as .dll files.
I was wondering if you had an Audio codec (QDesign Music 2), because when I run a video clip on it (TCPMP), it says "not supported by the player!" Is that because it cannot be supported, or is it because I have not installed this codec in the player? Does anyone have this codec for TCPMP?

Sorry, but so far I have been unable to locate a codec for the audio scheme "QDesign Music 2". I will keep looking and see if someone creates one in the near future, then include it in an updated release of my codec pack.
Thank you for supplying these codecs. I had been thinking of purchasing an ITouch or Archos, but since my Axim has a Wifi card, and you've supplied these great codecs for TCPMP, I think I'm set!
I have an Axim x5 with PPC/WM2003 and am connecting on my Dell XPS 1330 with Vista. I have tried using the CAB and the .exe installer, and everything seems fine until the last second. It says it did not install successfully and to try again.
I downloaded your original zip with the .exe and plug in files and they installed separately with no problem! Hooray!
Noob question: now what? I know how to rip DVDs and CDs and play them with TCPMP, but can I download iTunes now that I have the AAC codec?
Sorry to bother you and thanks again for the codecs!

Sorry - never mind. I figured out how to video capture with Windows Movie Maker. It saves as a Pocket PC .wmv file - no encoding needed. I can even record On Demand content.
