I know I am probably just stupid but I have this new (3 weeks old) Axim and I sent an mpg to the Axim, and when I went to open it I could only find it in File Explorer. If I click on it to open it the response is that I have to open it from inside the proper application. I for the life of me can't figure out how to open it from the WMP. Can anyone out there help?

i dont think it can play mpegs, you have to use pocket MVP. I know the wmp plays wma and avis

Thanks, I just read it further down this thread, I guess nothing is as simple as it appears.

Windows media player is a piece of crap. I hate the way it makes you fiddle with playlists instead of giving you a simple "open file" option.

WMP is great for me.. I use the WMP Orange skin for audio only and looks great/plays great. I'll use gsplayer from time to time also but wmp9 is fine
