I've switched to Vista with the usual software compatibility problems. I can't get DVRMSTools to extract the commercials. Hard to believe there are so few programs out there that will do this.

I did find one, however. I just installed it and it is cutting out all the commercials in the programs I've recorded. Right now, I know nothing else that it can do except for that. I recommend you visit the site and try it out. The developer has a paypal account if you want to donate money. So far, I'm impressed.
