I am looking for an mp3 player for my x51v to play podcasts and audiobooks. I have tried several players but there are some features that I would like to have that I have not found.

1. Remeber position, bothe in file and in directory/playlist. Audiobooks span several files. I would like to be able switch back and forth between an audiobook and a music playlist and remember where I left off.

2. Seek backward 5 sec. Sometimes in the car you get distracted and miss something. I want an easy way to do instant replay for a few seconds, like a TiVo.

3. Dynamically update directory or playlist. When I copy podcast file to a directory I want them to show up last in the list.

4. Delete file when played so I don;t have to clean up old podcasts.

Does anyone know of a good player that can do this?

Wow - that sounds like the NIRVANA of podcast players. I haven't found it, but am very curious to see if anyone out there has!

I don't know if it will do everything you want, but you might check out Pocket Player....it will play protected audio files (like library books) and you can bookmark your place in the file. I have only recently downloaded the application and am exploring its options.
