Why do I Get a Green Screen??
ok, i tried my first video... i have a 10mg .mpeg file and i want to convert it. i followed the steps in the posted note and now i have a 5.7 mg file (much improved at least)... but it won't play on the PC or Axim. i get a green screen where the image should be and the ax locks on it.... not sure what i did...

when i first bring up the vid file in virtualdub it gives me two warnings..
both have yellow circles (not sure if there is a red circle that is worse or not) the warnings are:
mpeg: anachronistic or discontinuous timestamp found in video stream 0 at byte position 10882088(may indicate improper join)
mpeg: anachronistic or discontinuous timestamp found in video stream 0 at byte position 10925114(may indicate improper join)

would these error have prevented it from converting correctly??

I went through all the steps and it appears to be converting it, i mean it plas the mpeg file int he virtual dub at super fast speed and then says Done (with errors) in the log.... please help!!!
