AVI Remote Control- Recent Prog.

I hate to sound lazy but are there any recent programs that could let me use my ax for a remote control my laptop? I mainly use WMP 11. It suits my needs and I've got the latest codecs installed so I really don't have any problems playing various video or audio formats. Sometimes I'm very comfortable and just think it would be convenient if I could use my ax to fast-forward or change shows.

I used to have a program that utilized the wifi or bluetooth but didn't control video. It only did the audio such as changing songs, volume, etc.

You can use the freeware program VNC (using any of several PC and PPC components; search for instructions on this board).

If your PC supports Windows Remote Desktop Connection (as WinXP Pro does), you can use that as well. (The Terminal Services Client was build into my Axim x50v).

I have a program called Remote Desktop Mobile that is part of WM6.1 and seems like it may connect my Ax with my Laptop. I dual boot and XP is one of my OS'. Now with the VNC I'll look into that!
