I tried a PocketPCFilms.com film also. From the CD, I could only download about 4/5ths of the movie to my SD disk while it was in my axim. Then the Axim disconnected from ActiveSync. I tried it twice. It took a long time to download also, about 25 minutes. This is using my Windows XP desktop. I tried to download the flik (His Girl Friday) to my desktop instead of directly to the SD, but that is not an option with the PocketPCFilms.com. Why am I downloading full length feature to my Axim? Because I can I guess. I thought an SD Card Reader might help.

You can also find lots of videos at PPCVIDZ They have .wmv and Divx Video .I am happy to say that the Divx was encoded by using my guides. BigDs Video Guides I know alot of people in the forums knows of this site(PPCVIDZ).They offer a variety of older stuff and could use our support because the plan is ,as they get bigger they can move to newer release videos for our PPC's . And wouldn't that be

Well, alot of ppcvidz stuff is public domain, so you can grab it elsewhere and encode yourself. No offense, just isn't worth it to me.

On that widescreen question - I may have mispoke, I think the options are 160x2something, and 320x240 fullscreen or whatever. The larger one give good quality at full screen, letting Windows media player rotate it. It's in a drop down box somewhere in there.

Oh and as for the ppc films question, I had trouble with my feebles cd, just don't use their installer, copy the wmv file from cd to desktop and then to ppc. I could not get their installer to function, but all it does is copy a file. No fancy DRM stuff going on.

and quickie movie maker 2 instructions:

Click covert a file, pick the file to convert and the new file to create's name, pick pocket pc, pick options, grab a cup of coffee, you are done. For anyone annoyed by the tediousness of doing divx, this is the easy way. It encodes speedy as all hell too, although it may appear to lockup for the first 5 minutes (leave it alone, it will be done in 15-40 minutes depending on if it's a tv show or full movie)

These instructions are for Movie Maker 2 and not Windows Media Encoder? I have Movie Maker 2, but I have no option to convert video. Am I missing something?

The option IS in mm2. Not sure why you don't see it, but it's there for me and everyone else I know.

I can't figure it out. I have none of those options in MM2, however I have all of them in Windows Media Encoder. I guess I will just use that.

Mike J, If you are still trying to use MM2 to convert a file. It is Import video that you want to choose.
