how do you organize your music files?

I installed a 256M CF just for music files. I converted several of my CD's using Windows Media Player on my desktop PC. I noticed that this program creates a folder on my hard drive containing files with names such as "01 Track 1.wma". So far what I have done is to rename these files using a shorthand name that relates to the artist and album, then I copied the files to the "My Documents" folder on my CF card. This isn't too bad but I get 70 or so files in this folder, and Windows Media Player won't play them in order- it skips around a bit.

Is it possible/better to have subfolders under "My Documents" for each CD and will WMP deal with these properly?

How do I get WMP to play the files in the proper order?

I have a My Music folder on my CF card, with subfolders in it. Rock, Jazz, R&B, etc. WMP sees them fine. You can probably create a folder for each CD. Then create a playlist for each one. In the playlist you can arrange the songs in the order you want.
