DVD Catalyst

Hi,

Has anyone worked out what the optimum, or alternatively their favourite settings for are ripping DVDs for an HX4700 using DVD Catalyst?

It really depends on the size you want the movie to be and how much you are willing to sacrifice. Personally, I like to keep files around 500 MB. If I know a movie or show has a lot of action then I will lower the audio quality to keep the video quality high enough not get hiccups or other problems with the 4700.

Could you let me know what settings you are using please?
Codec, screensize, bitrates etc please?

I've tried 4 different combinations so far and all produce results which look ok resloutionwise but the motion is jerky.
