Hey guys,

I dig into George Carlin's stuff, hoping to find some of his comedy videos so I can laugh my balls off while travelling on the bus :D (George is a pretty unfamiliar figure in my country). Any recommendations?

Well, with almost 300 DVD titles in my library, this is what I got around to ripping. This is soon to be replaced by "The Godfather" and "Scarface".

Besides, one could do a whole lot worse; such as "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" or "Pootytang".

Besides

300 and those are what you chose? Interesting =) still no comparison to my 457 and counting though muaha. though my dvd player is dead right no so i cant rip a single thing, not that i know how anyway. Oh well, the godfather and scarface are great so that will improve it =P

problem with family guy (or any other comedy) is that you don't wanna spontaneoiusly burst out laughing on the bus (which is where i usually watch my axim).

currently i have 12 Monkeys, 2Fast2Furious (yes, the pre-RETAIL DVD), and some Spider-Man 2003 episodes, all over 2x256MB SD cards.

and there are great DVD-ripping & PPC encoding guides available at PocketMatrix (http://www.pocketmatrix.com/guides).

457 is impressive. Though I am still counting, I decided not to buy so many DVDs since I wanted other toys. Since the DVD rip process takes awhile, starting out I just grabbed any title to get a feel for the process.

I use http://www.dvdrhelp.com/ 's ripping guides. Most of the guides use free programs to rip and convert to almost any format.
