man divx 4.12 just did not want to work for me. i tried 5.0.3 and FINALLY got a movie to play. I'm alittle upset though because the quality is AWEFUL. will all the movies be pixilated or is it my settings? i did a 2 passes and 225 for bit rate.
tried playing the video at 400mhz and 200mhz.
we gotta be able to play a video smoothly.
i'm using the star wars 2 "breathing" trailer as my subject and the scenes are blending together. they should just pop up to the next scene, it plays fine on the divx player.

i am guessing the quality probably depends on what your source file was before u encoded. For me i did a encode of the movie van wilder, it was a DVD RIP. and it looked great on my axim, couldnt even see the pixels, but of course u can see it once in awhile when there is fast motion, but it worked great for me, also used the divx 5 codec. I am unsure what you are compressing it at but i do 200. hmmmm i am guessing it could just be the source.

ahhhh sweet, yeah i dont like pocket DIVX. I use pocket MVP for movies. and not to sound stupid but i am unsure what you are talking about. If i used any of those options i could tell you but I do not remember any of them so sorry i cant answer it. And just to ask what sizes are you getting, like from what size to what? for me i can get a 140 meg file down to around 40 or so.

48 MB YUCK i feel for ya :) I think you would be well advised to save up around 100 bucks for a 512MB, or even 200 bucks for a 1 gig. I kind of wish i would of waited and got a 1 gig CF card. I have a 512, and i travel alot and work so i put all my mp3s on it and movies and even the 512 is not enough :)

Give just a little more effort.
All I have to say RCGamer, is read over your typing before you press enter. Give it an extra second, and put in the effort to convey your message accordingly. No one's calling you names, so don't get upset... just try a little harder that's all =D

What is the difference between one pass and two? I have ripped a DVD but it is currently about 80 mb to big for my 256mb card. This is really confusing stuff!
