Looking for player

Hey all, I've been using Windows Media Encoder 9 to convert my movies to watch on my Axim X5 Advanced. However, I get no sound using the Media Player on my AX, but I have it when I play it on my desktop. Does anyone know how to fix this or know of another "free" player that can play a windows formatted movie to try and see if that's the problem.

hanna, You might want to check out my guides on encoding video. If you are still using ppc2002, the wmp on the AX is not wmp9. And has trouble with the audio encoded with wmencoder but if you follow my guides you will see to use voice audio and that should work. Also look into the Divx section on my site. It can produce alot better video than windows media...There is links to each guide on the navigation bar on the left hand side of my page, plus you can download all the tools you need from there...Post back any questions, I'll book mark your post and keep a look out....

That did the trick, I had everything right except for sound quality. Hard to believe something so trivial did that. Anyway, thanks a bunch, I got some trips coming up and these movies will be a God send.:D
