the pass setting not same in 5.0.3 what pass is right way what goes 1st pass then 2nd pass

I had the same problem. In VDub, select the 5.0.3 codec and then choose configure. Click on the profiles tab. uncheck the box beside #1 - choose your profile. Accept the warning that pops up. Click on the Bitrate Control tab. Now you should be able to choose "original 1st pass" and so on.
