Encoding DVD Box Set
Does anyone know how to encode DVD box set? I have box sets of Star Trek. Each DVD has four episodes on it. When I try to encode the DVD it only finds one episode per DVD (the largest VOB file). I have scan the other VOB file and played them using various encoders (XMpeg, DVDx, FlaskMeg) with no success. I also have used smartripper to store VOB files on my hard disk.
Any Suggestions or help? | |||

Funny,I just did a Lone Ranger Box Set, with different episodes. And had a time with it to...But I figured it out. What I did was to ripp the disc with Smartripper as you have done, and use DVDX2.2 (available through my site) and do each VOB file by itself. Just follow my DVD Guide on my site and instead of choosing open IFO,choose open mpeg and choose your vob files.. Then just finish the steps in the guide....Now if you need to merge the files into one after you make them into mpegs see my editing guide and use TMPGEnc to put them together with. Hope that does it for you.
