Does the Pocket MVP have that feature?
Can it rotate the image 90 degrees on its side like the WMP?

I've encoded a movie at 320x184 and I want to see if it'll display.

another questions, does the MVP add masks for video if the picture is encoded for a wide-screen aspect ratio?

Yes PocketMVP will rotate your video for you and yes it will have the black border in wide screen , if thats what you mean..
