the video's length is a lot shorter than before, how do i fix it

if it's the problem with: ~800 MB 480x480 Movie just converted down to about 208x164 (or so..don't remember it exactly) to only about 23 MB's..than i have this problem too!!

At converted file video stops after about 10 secs, but audio remains playing...
