Has anyone seen the cool winamp 5 internet tv streams? There is an NBC one which is really cool (down a lot of the time) + a few SWC streams.

Anyway, since there is no Winamp 5 player for the pocket pc, it got me thinking about recording the streams and then converting them to DIVX or whatever format you want in order to play them on the pocket pc.

I haven't tested it yet, but if using linux, you could probably grab the stream and convert it using mencoder and then put it on your axim and then play it. Perhaps you could even stream it over wifi? Sounds like something cool to do when I get my axim.....

Do you have a link to these TV streams by any chance?

go download winamp 5 at www.winamp.com

now open up the media library, and on the left menu you will see "internet tv" click on that and you'll see a list of stations
