Resizing Movies/tv Episodes On Pocket Tv

I've installed Pocket TV on my Axim X5 and tried out a short clip from a televison show to see how it would look - it was very small. Is there any way to resize films with Pocket TV?

Either the resolution or quality of the video was rather low, or you weren't viewing it at full screen.

The most you can do with Pocket TV is view either in a window or Fullscreen or Fit Screen. If the video is small and you look at it fullscreen or select Fit Screen then the video will most likely look bad. To get the best image quality at the best size is done when you encode a video.

I have taken an hour TV show extracted from my ReplayTV and used Windows Movie Maker to reencode it for Pocket PC. It plays flawlessly, and it is free with Windows XP. You won't need any other program other than WMP on the Pockey PC. Movie Maker will reencode and squeeze the file down to flash memory size. I took the hour program and edited it down to 42 minutes which created an 640 MB+/- file down to 63 MB. I love it.
