WMP Series9
Can anyone help with a problem that has just occured with WMP.
I transfer WMA files from my pc using active sync. into my personal folder on my Axim5 (PC2003).
I was able to play these files by selecting them directly from the folder.
Now when I select the file I get the following error message :- " Wndows Media Player cannot play this file because the required codec is not installed."
It goes on to suggest copying the file using WMP 9 Series or later from the pc to the device, this does not cure the "fault".
However if I put the files into a playlist then select the playlist from WMP after opening it they play OK.
