After dealing with constant skips and breaks im my music I decided I've had enough. Before blaming the faults on my Axim or GSPlayer, I transfered my music to my friend's 128 MB SD Card and the music played fine on my Axim. I came to the conclusion that I had a problem with my Sandisk CF Card so I ran a benchmark on it with Pocket Mechanic. The results were rather dissapointing (.14 MB/sec read).

My card was also heavily fragmented at the time so I inserted it into my card reader and defragmented it. After the defragmentation the music played a lot more smoothly but still had some skips and breaks (probably because of the card speed). Is there a way to write the entire file temporarily into the RAM and then play it with GSPlayer? I've checked "Scan File Completely" but it doesnt seem to remedy the problem. Also what does the buffer count, fade in, and supress zero samples at the beginning do? If anyone has any method for correcting this problem please tell. Thanks.
