You'll need to convert the tracks from your cd into a mp3 file using your PC. There are a number of freeware programs available to do this.
Then copy the mp3 file onto your ax and you'll be able to play it with WMP or another such application | |||||

WMP = Windows Media Player.
If your desktop operating system is Windows XP, it has a neat little "copy to CD or device" option when you right click on an mp3 or audio file (on an audio CD)...try that, it opens up WMP and lets you choose the destination (your PDA, or SD card in the PDA) and the process is pretty self explainitory from there. | |||||

also if you don't mind using microsofts format...Windows Media Player on your desktop will create a .wma file that is generally smaller than mp3 then you can use the tip in the above post to copy to device.
