What would be the best FREE MP3 player?
I'm not satisfied with windows media player since you can not create playlist from different sources (meaning that if you have MP3 saved on your memory card and in build in storage you can not put them under one playlist) So I'm looking for alternatives. Is there any good free MP3 players available for ppc?

I like gsplayer. Works great for mp3 files plus plays streaming Internet stations.

Wow that was quick! Thanks!
I just downloaded. works fine, but I have to questions:
Can it be mapped to one of the buttons on the Axim? I have window media player mapped like that and its really convenient.
Second, I have troubles to organize songs into playlist. When I click tools I don's see my playlists, only every song that I add to that player.
Thanks!

I agree that GSPlayer is the best free MP3 player that I worked with.

Yes, you can map GSPlayer to start with a hardware button if that is what you are referring to. If not, you can map GSPlayer functions to hardware buttons if that is what you are referring to.

If you want to map GSPlayer to startup via a hardware button you want to create a shortcut of GSPlayer2.exe to the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder. Then goto Start -> Settings -> Buttons and select the button that you want to map and assign the button assignment by choosing GSPlayer2.exe.

If you want to map GSPlayer functions to hardware buttons, simply open GSPlayer, Tool -> Options -> Buttons Tab. Than map your buttons how you want it.

winampaq scrolls up and down way to slow for it to not the hell out of me. pocket music is good but the free version isnt as good as gsplayer. pocket music feature pack and gsplayer pretty much are both good but gsplayer is free so it wins me over and for some reason i just like gsplayer better than PM feature pack

This is not true...local content, for example, finds all playable media from memory cards, storage, main memory, and puts it in one playlist.

What do you mean by it scrolls up or down too slowly. Are you talking about the playlist?
