Complete Newbie with Video
I am a palm convert! So this is my first experience with Video etc... Unfortunately I am working with a desktop that was purchased around 1998 Pent III 400, CDRw drive, running XP. A dell Ax 5 advanced (I know that my PPC is more powerful that my desktop lol)
I can do the MP3 with out issue, I can transfer and re encode video and install to PPC, My problem is that I don't have a DVD connected to the PC and I don't have a TV card attached or connected to PC, Where can I download video files, or how/from where can I Stream video files. I know that there is video available on Kazaa and WinMx, however I was hoping to do this legally and don't mind paying if necessary. Is there a video sight similar to itunes? Any help is much appreciated.

You're not in Kansas anymore! Pocket PCs are much superior to Palms. You've made a wise choice.

I am unaware of any place online that you can download movies legally. However, if you own the movie on VHS or DVD, I don't think it's really illegal to download it onto your computer.

One place to get some free movies is BMWFilms.com. There short films showing off their cars.(Some are really trashing some nice cars). Plus the have both PC and PocketPC versions.

If you're willing to spend money on movies, you might want to invest in a new computer with atleast a DVD Rom drive.(Probably get for a few hundred nowadays). There are a few free programs that will rip dvd's onto your hard drive and Windows Media Encoder(Also free) can convert them to PocketPC versions.
(I converted a 5 gig movie down to 125mb).

Any, good luck with your choices. I love watching movies on my Ax.
