Does Apple own the application? Really... would the software now be public domain?

Apple does not own the application but it owns the industrial design copyright on the iPod. The author of the application on the other hand owns the copyright of the programming code. The software or any creation becomes public domain 50 years after the death of the originator or anyone else in his/her estate.

Yup! But one thing. I thought it was 20 years.

Does this work with X51v?

Has anyone gotten this app to work with the X51v? I installed it with no problem, but it doesn't play. I navigate to an .mp3 file, and it shows it in "Now Playing," but it won't start playing no matter what I click. The time indicator doesn't change. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got it to work after all. I was trying to run it from a CF card. Although the program launches from a CF card, it won't play. When I installed it on main memory it worked fine (and will run .mp3s on a CF card).

I've got it installed and running OK but it seems to function strangely. The "browse" menu is no more than a file explorer menu -- it doesn't let me browse by id3 tag info such as artist, album, title and so on. Instead I'm limited to navigating my folders to one containing mp3s. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a switch somewhere I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any help. Dave.

This program is unavailable now, but can anyone either upload the cab file and PM me with the link to it or email it to me at masterjsfoster@yahoo.co.uk.
Thanks

The CAB file is available, but you won't be able to reg it without a crack, of which you never heard my talk about, or say here.

Does ppod require registration? Mine seems functional without registration.
