Pocket Music WiFi
I am experiencing a minor problem when trying to use my WiFi connection to play MP3s that reside in a shared folder on my desktop PC.
I have no problems mapping the shared folder and viewing the contents of this folder (I am using Resco Explorer 2003). If I tap on a MP3 in Resco Explorer it opens in PocketMusic and plays fine.
However, from within PocketMusic I am not able to see the shared folder. When I try to add a file/folder I only see the local folders (those under My Device).
Resco Explorer allows network shares to be shown in two ways. The default is to show the network as a root folder. The other option is to show the shares in a folder called "Network" under My Device.
If I select the second option (Network folder) I can see the files/folders from within PocketMusic. However, using this option has some indesirable effects on the way system information is reported external to PocketMusic. For example, when I look at System Info I no longer see the the free/used resources on my SD card. It has been replaced with "Network" but doesn't show anything.
Obviously this is not a major problem, but am wondering if anyone has a simple solution to get both (i.e. seeing the shared resources in PocketMusic, and system information is reported "normally" external to PocketMusic)?
