What's the Right Version of PocketMVP
Hey Everyone,
Ok, I'm just wondering, since I've seen several versions of PocketMVP available on the net. Which one (if you could provide a link that'd be great), should I be installing on WM2003? Thanks! --Mark

This actually is the newest version - not sure if it's the same one bigds linked to, but the project is hosted at corecodec now so the corecodec download page is the place to get the latest one. You also want the updated divx.dll package from: http://pocketmvp.topcat.hu/ which should improve decoding speed, introduces support for the latest versions of xvid, and gives support for b-frames.

Just to confirm, the link BigD posted will be the same as the version you'll get from CoreCodec because www.pocketmvp.com is the main programmer's website. (the domain redirects to that adelphia.net address)
I have heard that a new release with improvements is due soon.... but unfortunately I don't know how soon "soon" really is. - Odie

Yar, I'm not at all convinced by their definition of "soon"
but i'm really looking forward to Matroska support, as ogm doesn't play properly on pocket mvp (first 8 seconds seem to go missing) and avi can't use ogg sound meaning i'm ending up with bigger files 'cause I'm using higher bitrate mp3 sound...I was aware that that was his website, I wasjust wasn't sure the version on the site was the latest one as the version of the source code on there is absolutely ancient.
