movie player ??? help

hi
i've been playing around with my x5 & decided to try some movies as we are going on holiday soon so to use in the airport.
my x5 is a new one with 2003 installed
i downloaded the new media encoder 9 dvd decrypt & auto gordian knot & shrunk my movies to 250meg which play ok on my desktop but when i try to play them on my x5 it doesn't recognise them.
i thought media player 9 played almost anything.
also they are compressed under xvid (don't really know what that means.
please help anyone.

WMP on PPC only plays WMV files. You need to download another player such as BetaPlayer here or PocketMVP(must installed divx codec on your PPC here after you install PocketMVP)
